Hi! Welcome to my world (at least my "blog world"). I'm thirty-something at heart (which - as you may have gathered - is not the same as my actual years). I have a love for God, my husband, my daughter, adoption, children, all things organizational, kitties, flowers, chocolate, Pepsi, popcorn....I'll stop there. Oh! Oh! Oh! I forgot to mention almonds and ice cream. Now I'm just getting hungry. Anyhoo... I digress.
I'm a wife as well as the mother of one beautiful, smart, talented, little grown-up girl. (I know it sounds like I'm biased but in all fairness I have that right.)
We live in beautiful Colorado and never know exactly when Winter's going to end and Spring will begin. I assume that's all part of the adventure. We have a sweet, lovable and very patient cat and a new excited puppy (not sure there is such a thing as a puppy that isn't excited).
I am blessed to be a stay-at-home mom while trying to pursue various opportunities God sends my way. My greatest goal is to live a life that honors God.
I like to write. In particular I like to write about faith. I find faith is a journey we take as we move closer to God. Our journey of faith has peaks and valleys, detours, road blocks, dead ends, forks in the road, etc. It's rarely a smooth trip. Instead it's one that's filled with opportunities to grow and thrive. Even though there may be points when we muddle through the depths - there will always be points where we can soar like eagles.
I have a passion for praise and prayer. I believe that through praise we can change our relationship with God and through prayer we can change the world. In future weeks you will see the addition of printable praise and prayer guides. Together we can make a difference.
I created this blog to record some of the things I've learned or am still in the process of learning. Blogging gives me
motivation to keep growing, keep sharing and ultimately - keep "building
my faith".
